Mooring Tax Asset Group purchases first tax lien and establishes a lending relationship with Bank of America to acquire tax liens.

1999 - 2010

Mooring Tax Asset Group serves 3rd party clients, including New York City Tax Lien Trust and Bank of America Lien Securitization, growing AUM of assets serviced to over $400 million. MTAG Financial and MTAG Services established through a spin-off from Mooring Tax Asset Group, creating what is now know as Station 31 Partners.

2015

MTAG Services surpasses $1 billion AUM of assets serviced and adds Texas Tax Loans to the servicing portfolio.

2018

MTAG Financial launches its first real estate private credit fund with $12 million in origination.

2020 - 2021

MTAG Investments launches the second real estate fund with investments in private credit and property tax liens with $134 million of origination.

2021

MTAG Services named servicer for its 13th New York City Tax Lien Trust securitization, surpassing $4 billion AUM of assets serviced.

2022

MTAG Investments adds Texas Tax Loans as a qualified investment to its second real estate fund with $6.4 million AUM in property tax loans.

MTAG Services adds Asset Management Support Services (AMSS) to services offered.

2023

MTAG Investments launches MTAG Opportunity Fund I, providing LPs with real estate distressed and specialty debt opportunities.

2024

MTAG Investments launches S31 Texas Loan Fund, LP, for originating Texas property tax loans.
